In ancient times when people had books, notebooks, folders, agendas, and they would cover these items in doodles, collages from cut-up magazines, corporate logos, stickers, drawing, photos, poems, or quotes, in order to express themselves, to record a moment in time, to stretch their imagination and most of all to make these items their own, bringing harmony to their whole being.
Today people carry around laptops, tablets, portable game consoles, hard drives, and other personal electronic devices. These lifeless grey boxes hardly reflect anyone’s personality, let alone provide a balance to anything.
